The Blue Point Joint Venture
In April 2025, the partners made a final investment decision and agreed to a joint venture structure for the Blue Point mega-project in Louisiana: a $4 billion facility which will have a nameplate production capacity of around 1.4 million tons of CCS-based ammonia per year. Topsoe will provide its SynCOR Ammonia™ process (including autothermal technology and ammonia synthesis loop) for the project.
