2024 Annual Conference
During the three-day Annual Conference, attendees participated in sessions, panel discussions and roundtable focusing on the major demand centers already showing off-take momentum: Europe, Asia, and the global maritime market. Highlights include:
- Keynote Timo Bollerhey – Timo’s keynote, “Shaping the Global Energy Transition” highlighted H2Global’s incentive programs to accelerate early imports of hydrogen derivatives to Europe. Here is a overview of Timo’s keynote including H2Global’s recent ammonia auction, and plans for a larger, truly global auction round to be launched in the near future.
- Maritime Successes – Some technology sessions focused on ammonia-fueled gas turbines, ammonia-fueled maritime propulsion, flexible renewable ammonia production, and ammonia cracking. The status of ammonia as fuel for maritime propulsion was discussed, with engine manufacturers and shipowners sharing updates on their projects for ammonia-fueled vessels.
- Sessions Presentations – A wealth of information was shared among attendees in safety & regulations, markets, certification and technology tracks as well as some high-panel discussions. All the presentations are now available here.
