NH3 Event Europe and the Ammonia Energy Association join forces to present our first digital event: Masterclass — Ammonia Safety at 3pm CET on May 28 2020.

The 90-minute webinar will be hosted by Rianne Vriend-Vrijenhoef (Proton Ventures / NH3 Event) and features three speakers, each with expertise in a different area of ammonia safety.

Geir Thorson Solvi (Yara) will describe the ammonia industry’s safety track record and discuss risk management in ammonia production, storage, and distribution. Monique Berrevoets-Steenbakker and Roel Steenbergen (Antea Group) will introduce the process of developing a quantitative risk analysis for a new ammonia installation, which will help policy makers and project developers understand and communicate the importance of risk mitigation measures. Albert Lanser (Duiker Combustion Engineers) will talk about ammonia combustion and emission reduction from the perspective of environmental health and safety, and the importance of public perception of ammonia energy projects.

Following the three presentations, Trevor Brown (Ammonia Energy Association) will moderate a panel discussion, after which our panelists will be pleased to answer your questions.
