After installation by early 2027, the pilot system will provide power at a large industrial electricity consumer facility. The pair then aim to scale and rollout ammonia-to-power solutions across Taiwan’s significant high-tech and manufacturing sector.
“Taiwan's first batch of certified blue ammonia” will have an emissions footprint 60-70% lower than conventional ammonia, and Taiwan Fertilizer expects to increase its next delivery to tens of thousands of tons later this year.
