North Ammonia and Fjord Base Holding will develop a renewable ammonia production facility at the Fjord Base maritime logistics hub in Florø, Norway. Yara and Azane have already received safety approvals to construct their first ammonia bunker facility at Fjord Base, consisting of one of Azane’s floating ammonia bunker barges.

Multi-stakeholder support to accelerate Brazil’s renewable industry
The Industrial Transitions Accelerator has chosen Brazil as the first country partner in its “Project Support Programme”. Four renewable hydrogen, ammonia, fertilizer and methanol projects have been selected to receive support in advancing towards FID. Also in Brazil, developers Fuella and Yamna have launched renewable ammonia production projects in the Ports of Pecém and Açu.
