Recent outcomes from discussions at the International Maritime Organisation have validated the decisions many in the industry are already taking. But the penetration of new fuels throughout the industry will require substantially more action, particularly on an overall strategic level.

When Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) renewed their environmental vision in April 2023, the underlying intentions include a substantial role for clean ammonia, and not only as an alternative maritime fuel.
